Silver Peak Systems

Like Riverbed, Silver Peak is a veteran of the WAN optimization market.  The Silver Peak DIY SD-WAN solution, Unity EdgeConnect, combines SD-WAN and WAN optimization capabilities. EdgeConnect can be deployed at office locations as virtual and hardware appliances and  at AWS with an AMI. Silver Peak is also one of the few companies that can also extend the SD-WAN to SaaS applications.

Silver Peak supports service chaining and can be deployed in line with branch office routers and advanced firewalls, directing traffic based on your business intent. In addition, Silver Peak EdgeConnect can also serve as the primary termination point in branch offices with an integrated stateful firewall and full support for BGP routing.
